Simulation 2017 POW presentation at EP-SFT group meeting took place this week. Slides available [here](https://indico.cern.ch/event/609310/)
- It would be nice to have a US simulation workplan for Geant4/GeantV presentation similar to the very instructive EP-SFT session

Dario re: commonality on DAQ framework - WG has been established. The DAQ WG people leading the activity are FNAL people, Kurt Biery, with help from L. Uplegger and R. Rivera.

Where to hold it? Annecy? Lyon? EP-SFT has used a retreat location near Divonne but it only holds 50, too small. We need a volunteer host who will be well engaged in planning the meeting.

Plan B is to have it at CERN if no one steps up to host. We will book a room at CERN as insurance, right away after the doodle.
